A unique terroir at the heart
of a preserved natural environment

Mont - Ventoux as a birthplace

The TerraVentoux winery was created in 2003 from the merger of two cooperatives founded in 1929.

The White Rocks of Mormoiron and the Red Mountain of Villes-sur-Auzon.

TerraVentoux is enjoying great success today thanks to genuine expertise.

From refining cultivation methods to selecting the harvest, nothing is left to chance.

The TerraVentoux vineyard covers 180 hectares at the foot of Mont Ventoux and benefits from the sunny climate of its southern slope.

This privileged natural environment, classified as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO since 1990, then as a Regional Natural Park since 2020, places our vineyard at the heart of an ecosystem that reconciles biodiversity and sustainable development.

A leading producer of AOP Ventoux wines, TerraVentoux is a human-scale cooperative winery bringing together sixty winegrowers who uphold the principles of production that preserve the authenticity and natural quality of the grapes.

TerraVentoux creates Ventoux red, rosé and white wines with a refined and elegant style.

A terroir,  its people

UN TERROIR DES HOMMES

Our success is possible thanks to the perfect commitment of the winegrowers and the cellar staff, motivated around a shared project to create unique vintages recognized by lovers of fine wines.

An intimate knowledge of our five terroirs, their richness and diversity, allows us to grasp all their subtleties. The minerality of the clay-limestone soils, the delicacy of the sands, the warmth of the small pebbles of stony alluvium, or the freshness of the ochre sand hills and silts develop an exceptional aromatic range.

Our deep desire is to create wines that transcend trends, are inspired by traditional know-how and a reasoned culture, partly organic and biodynamic.

Finally, the undeniably favorable climate, the vineyard's altitude, the sunny and dry weather, and the cool nights give the grapes their incredible aromatic richness. The carefully chosen winemaking techniques offer each vintage fruitiness, finesse, and elegance, the unique expression of this exceptional vineyard in the heart of Mont Ventoux.

Nos engagements

Territorial eco-responsibility

Aware of its environmental impact, TerraVentoux adopted an eco-responsible approach very early on. Our methods aim to allow the vines to regain their independence, enabling them to obtain everything they need as naturally as possible, enriching themselves with all the nuances of the terroir.

Selective sorting has been put in place in order to preserve the environment and reduce the economic footprint of resources.

Our wine tourism activities, all eco-friendly, promote knowledge of the territory's biodiversity, and the rich landscape and heritage of Provence.

TerraVentoux is a signatory of the Eco-actor charter of the Biosphere Reserve. It encourages the settlement of young people and pursues an active land policy.
