Grape varietals

 TerraVentoux produces various varietals. Sturdy and adapted to the climate of the Ventoux, they constitute the riches of our wines.

 Black Grenache : a traditional variety of the Ventoux and the Rhône Valley; resists both wind and drought. It forms the base of the reds and some rosés, with rounded and fruity aromas.

Syrah : the king of the Grands Crus of the Rhône Valley; well adapted to a limestone area. With great aromatic range and strong colouring power it gives soft and silk wines.

Carignan : spanish origin, great qualities in assemblage.It produces wines with "garrigue" aromas (thyme, laurel, juniper)

 White Grenache : Mediterranean variety, adapted to wind and a dry climate. It has complex aromatic range recalling white fleshed fruits such as pear or peach.

White clairette  : this variety, one of the oldest in Provence, gives smooth white wines with fine and complex floral aromas.

Cépages secondaires

 Cinsault : used for the rosé, it gives fresh and fruity wines.

Viognier : this variety, typical of the Rhône Valley white wines, produces aromas of white flowers and apricot.
