Plot selection: a quality process

TerraVentoux started in 2005 a major program in vineyard plot selection. The aim is to increase the production of our premium cuvée Terre de Truffes, still maintaining high quality standards.

The winegrowers are all volunteers to take part to the program. They must strictly follow the rules mentionned in viticulture and adapt, if necessary, their vineyard management.

The plot selection depends on 5 standards:

- perfect sanitary conditions

- controlled yield

- optimum maturity

- a very aromatic pulp

- a high potential alcoholic degree, depending on years.
